Facebook IPO

What’s the value proposition of FB?

What’s the company’s growth strategy over the next 5 years?

All in all, what’s the business plan?

Why did any investor in his/her right mind rush that stock so early?

It sometimes seems like our financial system is set up to penalize those who know the least and have the least.

The way the SEC has always proceeded is a slap on the wrist and a cost of doing business, and all these big banks know it,” the securities lawyer said. “If they get in trouble with the SEC, they know they can buy their way out of it without admitting anything. Ninety-nine out of 100 judges go along with it because it is the machine that greases the wheels.

The same SEC that has the following mission:

The mission of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission is to protect investors, maintain fair, orderly, and efficient markets, and facilitate capital formation.”

Protect the investors or the bankers? Let us keep it real. A judge threw out the case because Citigroup is full of shit. Citigroup caused investors to lose well over $700M, yet refuses to admit guilt and offers to settle for a measly $285M when they MADE $150M in the process of ripping off INVESTORS! And what does the SEC have to say about this?

Both the SEC and Citigroup(together! Like a team! Note: Not the SEC and investors lol .. SEC and Citigroup) said Monday that they disagree with the ruling. Robert Khuzami, the director of the SEC’s Division of Enforcement, said the settlement “reasonably reflects the scope of relief that would be obtained after a successful trial.
